DraftKings and NetEnt Shake Hands in New Jersey
Swedish gaming provider NetEnt has shaken hands with Draftkings in an online casino supplier agreement for the regulated market in New Jersey.
In a press release published on Thursday, Net Entertainment (NetEnt) announced that it is expanding its presence in the regulated online gambling market in New Jersey.
“In the coming weeks, a large selection of casino games will be launched and available to Draftkings’ players,” the company wrote.
The deal was struck two months ahead of NetEnt obtaining a permanent license by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE). Prior to that, the company had been operating in the state under a transactional waiver from the NJDGE.
Erik Nayman, Managing Director for NetEnt Americas LLC, said he’s confident that DraftKings players will enjoy their “popular” games. “As the world leader in fantasy sports, with a large player base, they will add a new dimension to the market,” he added.
NetEnd is a well-recognized name in the industry that has already left its footprints in numerous online European, South African and Canadian casino markets. This Swedish software provider manufactures a range of online casino products including slots, progressives, table games, video poker and live dealer games.
Previously this year, live casino solution provider Evolution Gaming inked a deal with DraftKings for live dealer games.
