The Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) will organize a poker tournament aimed at raising money for a food bank on July 5th.
The event, called Full Houses of Food, will take place at Planet Hollywood.
As reported by PokerNews, poker players and celebrities such as Chance Kornuth, Frank Kassela, Matt Stout, Lacey Jones, Dutch Boyd, Lexy Gavin, Mark Kroon, and Ryan Reaves, an ice hockey player for the Vegas Golden Knights, will be among the attendees.
They will take part in a $300 buy-in charity poker tournament with rebuys and add-ons costing $100.
The prize fund for the winner is $10,000, while the participants with the most rebuys or most chips will receive a $1,000 bonus.
CSOP Founder Matt Stout states that this is a “special” event for him, expressing how grateful he is to have the support of the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, which aids nonprofits and players like Ryan Reaves.
All the proceeds will go to Three Square Food Bank, aimed at bringing hunger relief, with those who aren’t participating in the tournament having to make a $100 donation to join the reception.
In 2014, the CSOP hosted its first event, raising almost $15,000 for the food bank.
