Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury (27-0-1) is about to get in the ring with German 24-year-old boxer Tom Schwarz (24-0-0).
The once holder of WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, Ring magazine and lineal heavyweight titles – all gained after the win against Ukrainian Wladimir Klitschko – British boxer Tyson Fury (aka “The Gypsy King”) is gearing up for his fourth boxing match after a two-year “break” caused by mental health issues. The event will take place on June 15 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
All bookmakers anticipate Fury’s triumph, with Betfair offering odds of -10000 on the British boxer and FanDuel and William Hill listing Fury’s win at odds of -6000 and -3300, respectively.
The “hottest” bet on Fury’s win, offered by the three sportsbooks, is a KO in the first round: William Hill US +2200; Betfair + 2100; FanDuel: +550.
Schwarz’s chances of winning are slim, the odds suggest. William Hill US believes in the German boxer’s victory more than most, giving $1,200 for every $100 wagered. Bets made at Betfair and FanDuel will bring $1,700 and $1,600 for a wager of $100, respectively.
