Online gambling operator Kindred Group has partnered up with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to introduce its digital platform, Unibet, in New Jersey.
Kindred and the venue located in Atlantic City obtained a Casino Service Industry Enterprise License from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement in 2018, which enabled the company to render services to the state.
In his reflections on the company’s expansion, SVP Kindred US Manuel Stan stated that they were overjoyed as they would bring a “truly great” gambling experience to New Jersey residents.
Previously, the Maltese company had concluded a contract with SG Digital, the newest online division of Scientific Games, according to which they would use its Open Gaming System and Open Platform System.
Launched in November 2013, online gambling in New Jersey has experienced a surge in popularity. In the first quarter of 2019, industry profit increased by 52.4% compared to the same quarter of the previous year, leading to an income of $141.1 million.
Since 2013, Internet gaming has generated more than $1.1 billion in New Jersey.
