Casino Overview

There are more similarities between the popular movie and the Slot Powers Online Casino than just the name. Namely, both entities radiate absurdity, although it’s debatable whether the casino is funny or just annoyingly frustrating.

The casino first launched in 2008 and is part of the CyberRock Entertainment N.V. Casinos group. This group is notorious for frequent player complains, most of which pertain to the non-payment policy of its members.

So it’s no surprise Slot Powers Online Casino is blacklisted by every watchdog portal, review site, and any other website even remotely connected to the online gambling world. What we find unusual is that this casino is still operational.

First, there are so many player complaints and warnings over the web regarding this casino. Secondly, they’re not even trying to hide the fact that they have a tendency to wipe player accounts and confiscate any and all of their winnings.

Slot Powers Online Casino 1This casino is licensed by the government of Curaçao, so good luck involving a regulatory body during a dispute with Slot Powers. You can’t even turn to mediators, because not only are they unresponsive, but one of the casino’s terms actually states that posting any negative comment on this casino anywhere online is a clear violation of their T&Cs.

We’re certain this doesn’t even need to be said, but stay far, far away from this casino. They are blatantly rogue and won’t hesitate to employ any and all underhanded tactics to scam you out of your legitimate winnings.

T&Cs Analysis

The first thing you’ll notice when you go to check out this casino’s T&Cs is the idiotic font & color choice. They went with gray letters on a white background, which gives off a vibe that they deliberately made the terms as difficult to read as humanly possible.

So pardon the screenshots, but we had to select the text since that was the only way to make their terms semi-readable. Otherwise, you literally wouldn’t be able to see anything.

Frankly, it’s no surprise this casino opted for this unfortunate color combination. There are so many vague, predatory, and even blatantly rogue clauses within Slot Powers Online Casino’s terms that it makes sense they’d want to hide them in plain sight.

We’ll go through dodgiest ones, just to give you a better idea of why you should avoid this casino at all costs. However, even this list is vast, so strap yourself.

Are You of Legal Age?

Minors aren’t allowed to gamble, online or otherwise. So it’s only natural for a casino to include a clause that states you must be of legal age to gamble. However, the problem with Slot Powers’ legal age clause is that it states players must be 25 years old to play here.

Now, we don’t know about you, but we’ve never heard of any country where people only come of age after they turn 25. It’s either 18 or 21, as far as we’re aware. This is the type of absurdity surrounding this wanna-be online casino that we’ve mentioned at the beginning of this review.

“Because I Said So!”

Moving on, you’ll come across a clause which informs you that all decisions the casino makes are final. In and of itself, this clause isn’t damning. With sufficient, or rather — any context, we wouldn’t bat an eye.

As you can see, there is none. They literally just inform you that, by playing at their casino, you accept that the casino management has the last say in everything. It’s reminiscent of situations where a kid asks a parent to explain why they have to eat all of their vegetables. We only heard “because I said so” while reading this clause.

In case it wasn’t clear that all casino’s decisions are final, they remind the players of this fact once more in one of the later clauses. Again, without any context whatsoever.

Translated into plain English, these two clauses mean that, by playing here, you accept that the casino can do whatever it wants, and you can only nod your head. This includes scamming you out of your legitimate winnings, mind you.

And no, we’re not exaggerating. If there’s any dispute between you and a casino and you even attempt to involve a mediator, you can kiss your money goodbye. Among the things they define as a “violation” of their terms that would justify voiding all your winnings is the following clause:

The casino doesn’t even try to be subtle about it. They want you to know that, if you tell on them, they’ll “steal your lunch money.” Not only is this unprofessional, but it’s more along the lines of something a high school bully would say, rather than an online casino.

More Reasons to Take All Your Money

Ok, so just don’t tell anybody that you’ve run into problems, hope the casino’s support will resolve them someday, and you’ll be fine, right? Wrong! There’s a multitude of other things Slot Powers Online Casino lists as legitimate reasons to confiscate players’ winnings.

See for yourself:

Of course, no casino will welcome cheaters or players who refund their deposits with open arms. But read the last part of this sentence again. That’s right; if you’ve had and then closed an account at ANY other casino within the Rival network, all your winnings will be void.

As you might expect, they won’t prevent you from depositing and playing. As long as you’re losing, it’s all good. However, the instant you hit a decent win, they’ll invoke this rule and wipe your account.

It doesn’t get more obvious than this that this rogue casino is banking on the fact that players won’t read through their T&Cs page. We can’t imagine anyone in their right mind would agree to these ridiculous terms.

But wait — there’s more! You better not be a “professional” player or employ any strategy whatsoever or the “boogeyman” that is Slot Powers Online Casino will catch you! If you so much so as change your betting pattern, you’ll promptly see a big, fat zero in your casino account.

They even consider the Martingale strategy to be “professional play.” This is so beyond ridiculous and little more than a poor attempt at justifying the casino’s non-payment policy.

Additionally, there are many more equally as questionable clauses within this casino’s T&Cs, but we believe no further comments are necessary. From what we’ve covered already, it’s easy to conclude that Slot Powers Online Casino is rogue to the bone.

Games and Providers

The Slot Powers Online Casino’s games library is provided by Rival Gaming. Although Rival is one of the top casino software providers, there are barely a hundred games in this casino’s library.

From the name itself, it’s evident that the primary focus of this casino are online slots. There are quite more than a hundred titles to choose from, which is enough variety to keep any slot games lover entertained for hours.

Moreover, the slots at Slot Powers Casino include everything from 3-reel classics and video slots, to I-slots, 3D-slots, and progressives. So, players who prefer slower, traditional slot gameplay will find titles like Sevens and Bars the most enjoyable. On the other hand, fans of breathtaking graphics can choose between Gypsy Rose, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, A Night in Paris, and many other impressive titles.

Still, although the focus of this casino is on slots, that doesn’t excuse their miserable selection of other casino games. For example, there are a total of 9 table games available. To be perfectly honest, we would be embarrassed to create an entire section with only 9 games on offer.

Though, admittedly, the lack of diversity when it comes to their table games is the least of Slot Powers Casino’s problems. The bigger issue is that you have to create an account before you even see the available games. Don’t get us wrong; we’d call it an “inconvenience” if it wasn’t a legitimate problem.

To access the Instant Play version of this casino, you have to go through the account creation process. That’s well and good, except we couldn’t finish registering. The form was so poorly optimized that the “next” button wasn’t showing on the laptop screen. At this point, we’re leaning more towards labeling not being able to create an account one of the casino’s biggest benefits…

Mobile Compatibility

Apart from the Instant Play version which is borderline unplayable, this casino offers a download client as well. It behaves much better, in a sense that you can actually play the games without lag and other random errors you’re likely to experience while playing through your browser.

But what about players who want to play during their daily commute? Well, there is a Mobile section of the website, which performs the same function as the F5 key on your keyboard. It simply reloads the homepage. Literally, nothing else happens.

However, you can access this casino from any mobile device. Much to our surprise, the mobile version not only exists but is actually well optimized. The games load fast and run smoothly. Still, we would only recommend playing at this casino for fun, regardless of which device you’re using.

Financial Information

This casino’s banking information is a mockery. First of all, they don’t have a “Banking” page on their website. Technically, they don’t have a separate page containing financial information at all.

Instead, when you click on the “Deposit Options,” it will merely take you to the footer of the homepage where you can see the logos of all the different methods. Note that there is absolutely no mention of withdrawal options. Then again, why should there be? It’s not like they’re going to actually pay you when you win.

Deposit Options

If you wish to donate money to the Slot Powers Casino, because that’s precisely what you’ll be doing if you make a deposit here, there are quite a few ways to do so. These include credit/debit cards, e-wallets, and even Bitcoin.

When it comes to taking your money, they sure went out of their way to provide players with a variety of options. The minimum deposit (read: donation the casino will take) is $25.

Here are the available deposit options, in case you’re feeling generous:

  • Visa/MasterCard
  • EcoPayz
  • Neteller
  • Ukash
  • Skrill
  • UPayCard
  • Bitcoin

Withdrawals

According to customer support, there are a few withdrawal options, on paper at least. The casino representative on Live Chat first stated Bank Wire Transfers and Bitcoin as the only withdrawal options.

However, they later added that Skrill, Neteller, and EcoCard were also available to European players. However, what’s strange is that credit/debit cards aren’t among the withdrawal options. It would seem the absurdity of the Slot Powers Online Casino knows no bounds.

Naturally, you can see all the available options in the cashier, once you create an account. However, we’ve already mentioned that we’ve met an impassable obstacle in the fact that the button to finish the account creation process was absent from the form. However, we eventually got there. So here are the withdrawal options this casino currently offers:

  • Neteller
  • Skrill
  • Wire Transfer
  • UPayCard
  • Bitcoin

The only other pieces of information pertaining to withdrawals can be found within the casino’s terms. They reveal that the minimum withdrawal is $100, with the maximum being $1,500 per withdrawal and $10,000 monthly.

As for the times it takes to process the withdrawal requests, the casino lists 15–18 business days. Even if they had a spotless track record and a reliable payment history, this would still be unacceptable. Add the verification process on top of the three weeks it takes them to approve your request, and you’ll have to wait at least a month. And that’s if they decide to pay you.

Moreover, the casino charges $10–$40 fees on every withdrawal. There are thousands of other online casinos that don’t charge any fees, so there’s no reason to consider this acceptable.

Bonuses

It’s typical for rogue casinos to try and lure new players in with seemingly incredible bonuses. The problem is, Slot Powers Casino’s bonuses don’t even look good. Their homepage promises “10 free and 1300 in deposit bonuses.”

The first thing that came to mind was 10 free spins. However, it turns outs they offer a $10 no-deposit bonus. As for the reason why it simply states “10 free,” apparently it is because the casino supports multiple currencies. However, the decision to not opt to include a dollar, euro, pound, or any other symbol is plain dumb.

It just shows that minimal effort and next-to-no thought went into the creation of this online casino. As with everything else, they’ve invested a minimal amount of time, money, and energy into their homepage banner.

The irony is, the bonuses are supposed to be the casino’s main selling point since they don’t have much to offer besides them. Apart from the welcome offer, there don’t appear to be any additional bonuses and promotions.

This casino briefly mentions cashback and “special bonuses” in their terms. But even if they do exist, there isn’t any information on them since the “Promotions” tab scrolls further down the same page, just like “Deposit Options.”

The Welcome Offer

So we’ve established that “10 free” is actually a no-deposit bonus available to new players. It comes with a wagering requirement of 25x the bonus, and the maximum cashout is 5x the bonus.

Sure, it’s free money, but it’s not exactly generous. The bonus isn’t cashable, meaning you have to win at least $60 to withdraw the maximum amount. The original $10 will automatically be removed from your account when you make a withdrawal request.

Oh, and lest we forget, to be able to withdraw the winnings accrued from this bonus, you’d first need to make a $25 deposit. So technically, the most money you can get out of the no-deposit bonus is $25. And whether or not you’ll actually receive it and how long it may take — now, that’s a totally different story.

The other part of the welcome offer is 4 matching deposit bonuses. They range from 50% to 100%, and you have the opportunity to play with $1,300 of bonus money in total. The minimum deposit to claim these bonuses is $25. The wagering requirements are 25x deposit + bonus. Like all other bonuses, these too are sticky and can never be withdrawn.

Since there are only 9 table games in this casino’s library, it would be ridiculous to comment on game weightings. It’s evident you can only play slots with these bonuses.

The fact that the bonuses are sticky and only go up to 100% aside, the real issue is that they’re automatically added to players’ accounts. If you do not wish to make your life a living hell by accepting these bonuses, you have to contact the support team and request that they be removed from your account.

However, the obvious solutions to this, as well as all other problems the casino is plagued with, is avoiding it altogether.

Customer Support

The fact that the Slot Powers Online Casino is blacklisted by every respectable website in the industry paints a pretty good picture of how they treat their customers. There’s an overabundance of complaints scattered all over the Internet regarding the casino’s conduct. As you might imagine, players aren’t too happy with the casino’s “money, what money?” attitude.

So we went in expecting a poor experience with their customer service. And still, the casino representative on Live Chat caught us by surprise. We expected the standard rogue package: vague, long-winded answers that tell you everything but the information you requested.

It turns out; they were pretty straightforward with us on Live Chat. Sure, it took a while to get the answer we were looking for, and we had to explain ourselves multiple times. But what surprised us the most was the lack of enthusiasm on the agent’s part.

They were about as friendly as they had to be in order to keep their job. They were evidently nervous, agitated, and dissatisfied with it. We’re not assuming — the representative actually said: “I don’t know why, I’m just doing my job.”

That doesn’t sound right, does it? If the people employed at this casino hate their job to the point where they don’t care about remaining professional, how do you think the management treats them? More importantly, can you really expect such a casino to treat players fairly?

You can also try to contact the casino via the email address provided on their website. But you’d be insane to think they would ever answer you. It’s debatable whether anyone ever sees these emails, let alone answers any of them.

Summary

At this point, we’d venture to say you don’t need any more convincing. It’s so obvious this entire casino was set up as a scheme from day one that anyone could see it from a mile away.

So as we said, unless you enjoy donating money to criminal organizations, stay away from this rogue casino.
