Pennsylvania Casinos Experience Increase in Slots Revenue
The profit from slot machines at Pennsylvania casinos amounted to around $2.38 billion in the 2018-2019 fiscal year, recording a revenue growth when compared to the previous year.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) published a report which showed that 12 brick-and-mortar casinos grossed almost $26.5 million more than in the fiscal year 2017-2018 from slot machines, experiencing a 1.1% increase.
Parx Casino, owned by Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, Inc., achieved the highest slot machine revenue, taking in $416.8 million. Wind Creek Bethlehem, previously known as Sands Bethlehem, took second place, earning $295.7 million.
In addition, Pennsylvania-based Valley Forge Casino Resort made $96.28 million from its slots compared to the previous year when it grossed $86.6 million, recording an 11.06% growth in revenue.
