Bookie William Hill and gambling operator Eldorado Resorts Inc. have inked a deal to develop sportsbooks at two of the latter’s casino resorts in Iowa.
On Tuesday, William Hill revealed that it would open two sportsbooks at Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo and Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf. The agreement also includes that bettors will have access to the bookie’s mobile app.
David Grolman, President of Retail Operations for William Hill US, said that they were “thrilled” to develop their relationship with Eldorado, adding that two Iowa properties would provide sports fans with “amazing” opportunities.
The deal is a continuation of a seven-year-long partnership between the bookmaker and Reno-based company.
Since 2012, William Hill has managed sports wagering facilities at five Eldorado properties — Tropicana Atlantic City, Mountaineer Casino Racetrack and Resort, Lady Luck Casino, Tropicana in Mississippi, and the Isle of Capri.
Iowa’s Gov. Kim Reynolds adopted a law that permitted sports betting in May. The residents are expected to place their first bets in mid-August.
