Online poker player Robin “Inho” Ylitalo has won the XL Eclipse poker tournament on Sunday, receiving a $21,709 payout.
The Swedish player kicked off his career in 2006. Since then, he’s earned more than $1.8 million in live tournaments, half of which received due to the first place in the 2013 EPT Main Event.
The 33-year-old Robin Ylitalo finished first in the 888poker’s XL Eclipse $100,000 Tune Up event and earned $21,709. He went head-to-head with “SiladuS92” after he eliminated “advancement” whose third place got him $12,635.
With the attention on the Swede and the Russian, the two agreed on a heads-up deal. A blank on the river brought victory to “Inho.” The runner-up received $19,061.
The Tune Up Event attracted more than 500 players and generated a $125,100 prize pool. The 888poker’s XL Eclipse series is set to conclude on Sunday with the $15,000 Micro Main Event.
