A New Jersey man hit a $250,000 lottery jackpot in July — two years after winning $2 million from a scratch-off ticket.
Freddie Robinson won the top prize in the Platinum Diamond Spectacular scratch-off game in 2017. After becoming a millionaire, he continued to work as a furniture repairman and remarked he would still play lottery games.
The 64-year-old told Lottery officials he was “still in shock” following the recent win. He recounted how he had bought several $10 tickets at C-Town Supermarkets.
When he went to scan the last one using the NJ Lottery app, Robinson found out he won $250,000.
Lottery officials revealed that players claimed more than $108 million in prizes in August.
