One deal and a visit to The Venetian turned a gambler into a millionaire.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Sean Barry joined a Three Card Poker table at the casino resort on Friday. Barry placed a $5 side wager, becoming eligible for the jackpot.
After making the Millionaire Progressive bet, the Ohio native was dealt a club royal flush, winning a total of $1,010,155.
Lance Gautreaux, SVP and Chief Casino Officer for Las Vegas Sands, which owns The Venetian, said that the Millionaire Progressive had been hit five times this year. He also congratulated the winners.
In 2018, The Venetian introduced the Millionaire Progressive. The starting prize is $1 million which increases gradually. In order to win it, a gambler has to receive a natural royal flush.
