There is no denying that 7 Fortune Frenzy is close to being a reskin of Betsoft’s88 Frenzy Fortune. All the features are the same, and the math model is also identical as far as we can tell. The only real difference between the two installments is the pay symbols. As you can imagine, this version revolves around the lucky number 7.
The many blank positions that keep landing aren’t all that fun to watch at times, and it gives off a half-baked impression. As in the predecessor, it’s all about lining up wins on the single payline on the 3 regular reels, while hopefully also connecting with 1 of the 3 feature symbols on the 4th bonus reel. The Respin feature is the big highlight, but don’t expect to see it all that often.
The3 regular reelsare marked with red fire frames when they spin, while the4 bonus reelcomes with blue flames. You need to line up a winner on the single payline, plus 1 of 3 bonus symbols on reel 4, to trigger the correspondingBonus Frenzy feature.
Your regular win will then either be subject to amultiplier of x2, x5 or x8, or you’ll win an extra instant cash prize of either 8x or 18x your stake. The third alternative is the Respins feature. Triggered by the respin symbol, you get 1 free respin for starters.
Your triggering win is guaranteed to line up again on the 3 regular reels, and this awards a repeat win with a multiplier between x1 and x4 applied. Land a new respin symbol however, and the process can repeat up to 5 times per trigger.
Once again we struggled to trigger the Respins feature, just like we did in the sister slot, 88 Fortune Frenzy. You’ll get to see some x8 boosted wins though, but nothing too special happened for us this time either. The highlights video is around 3 minute long, and simply hit the play button below to get started.
If Betsoft is planning a whole series of these simple, fruit slot-inspired space arcade installments, it might be a good idea to make them a bit more different. 7 Fortune Frenzy is pretty much identical to 88 Frenzy Fortune, except for the regular pay symbols. Landing so many blanks positions per spin still feels kind of strange, although we’ve gotten more used to it by now.
The alluring repeat-win Respin feature managed to slip through the net this time also, and it proved itself once again to be hard to get. The base game consists mostly of dead spins, until you suddenly land a modified top-up win via the bonus frenzy reel. There is nothing new to see here really, but if you liked the first installment you might wanna give this one a spin too.
Pros
Cons
88 Frenzy Fortune- is the sister slot from Betsoft, and it’s pretty much the same game except for the symbols that are centered around number 8 in this version. What you really want is the elusive repeat-wins Respins feature, and you can win up to 2,368x your stake also here.
88 Fortunes- is an SG installment with a somewhat similar theme and style, but this one is also a highly popular jackpot game. The bonus round comes with premium symbols only, and you can win up to 2,761x your stake.
Golden Horns- is a fun classic release from Betsoft, and it comes with 3 reels and 1 payline. The ox wild can boost your winnings with up to x88, and landing 3 ox wilds on the payline guarantees a win between 576x and 25,344x your stake.
