Andrey Pateychuk Takes First Place at Venetian CPPT Main Event

Andrey Pateychuk triumphed at the $5,000 CPPT Main Event at DeepStack Championship Poker Series, winning $547,777.

Pateychuk participated in poker tournaments organized at casino resort Wynn Las Vegas, but he said he would bust at each table before winning at casino and hotel venue The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

This year the event generated over a $2 million guarantee, and it attracted 564 participants who contested in two starting flights.

With the award, the poker player secured his third-largest payout, previously receiving $937,530 at the EPT Season 8 Sanremo Main Event and $599,720 at the 2011 World Poker Tour Prague Main Event.
